This modification focuses mainly on making the game more difficult after reaching certain milestones.
It is inspired by the mechanics in Terraria. Difficulty also scales with to
keep Minecraft style. All ideas are welcome.
This modification is in early stages of development and it is not finished yet.
Since version 0.4.0 this mod requires a to work!



The game progress is divided into three parts: Normal Mode, Expert Mode and Master Mode.

Normal Mode starts at the beginning of the game.
Expert Mode starts when the first player enters the Nether.
Master Mode starts when you defeat the Ender Dragon.



Some of new mechanics:

Groups of enemies
Enemies appear in groups with one leader and
followers who attack the same target as the leader.
Followers are more likely to have weapons and leaders to have armors.


Undead Army (new Raid)
New raid which starts after killing certain amount of
undead enemies. It has 3-5 waves, scales difficulty over time and rewards
player with treasure bag after finishing it. Also scales difficulty with each player participating in!


Treasure Bags
Bags which contain some extra loot and have a chance for one rare item.
Currently you can acquire Treasure Bags from:
Fishing, Undead Army, Elder Guardian, Wither and Ender Dragon.
Each player receives their own Treasure Bag when they help to defeat a raid/boss.


Bleeding
Each animal and human being can now bleed. This is an effect that deals damage similar to poison and can be
removed using a new item: Bandages. The chance of bleeding is lower the more pieces of armour you
have. Bleeding is caused by many different sources such as receiving sword
damage, being bitten
by a spider or by touching a cactus... It is important to keep bandages
with you at all times
because bleeding becomes more deadly as the game progresses!


End Shards
New late game ore: End Shards. With this ore you can make End Ingots which are used
to upgrade Netherite armor and tools! End Shards are generating in End Stone and can be
found in End structures as well. Each tool and armor piece made from End Shards has a new unique ability!
You can also easier locate End Shards with End Shard Locator from Ender Dragon Treasure Bag.


Inventory items (trinkets/accessories)

New rare items that reward time spent on basic activities like: mining, breeding animals etc.
Currently you can acquire them from: mining, fishing, harvesting, breeding and taming animals. All items give
unique abilities that works when you have them anywhere in your inventory. They also have
a random effectiveness bonus that can increase or decrease their usefulness.
(i.e. if an item has a 10% base chance to drop an extra item and +40% effectiveness bonus then the final chance is 14%)



Remember that some of the changes/chances below are scaled by Clamped Regional Difficulty!
(it means that you can see the following changes after certain time)

Normal Mode changes:
- Skeletons may spawn in groups (leader with up to 3 sidekicks) (up to 25% chance)
- Zombies may spawn in groups (leader with up to 3 sidekicks) (up to 25% chance)
- Creepers may spawn with negative effects (its explosion will leave area effect cloud) (up to 35% chance)
- Creepers may spawn charged (up to 12.5% chance)
- fall damage causes Slowness & Nausea
- killing a certain amount of undead enemies will cause new raid to start: Undead Army (every 100 undead enemies killed)
- Evokers always spawn with Totem Of Undying
- Animals (like Wolves), Zombies and Spiders can bite you causing Bleeding (up to 50% chance) (-10% chance for each armor piece equipped)
- Arrows and direct damage from sharp items (tools, weapons, shears) also can cause Bleeding (up to 25% chance) (-5% chance for each armor piece equipped)
- drowning damage causes Nausea & Weakness
- you will receive a Fisherman Treasure Bag after every 20 items fished
- Creepers will now explode when the player is not far behind the wall
- all explosions are now up to 4 times bigger
- you may drop Giant Seed while harvesting, which gives you a 25% chance to double your crops (0.1% drop chance)
- you may drop Lucky Rock while mining, which gives you a 3% chance for extra loot from mining (0.02% drop chance)
- you may drop Idol of Fertility while breeding animals, which gives you a 25% chance of having twins after breeding (0.5% drop chance)
- you may drop Certificate of Taming while taming animals, which increases animals attributes by 15% after taming (1% drop chance)
- Creepers on explosion may spawn new, smaller version of themselves: Creeperling
- and touching Cactus also may cause Bleeding (up to 50% chance) (-10% chance for each armor piece equipped)


Expert Mode changes:
- 25% chance for double loot from enemies
- 25% extra experience from any source
- enemies have 20% bonus to health & damage (doubled at night)
- Illusioner spawn naturally during the night
- Giant spawn naturally during the night
- new aggressive mob Pillagers Wolf which spawn naturally during the day
- Piglins may spawn in groups (leader with up to 3 sidekicks)
- Pillagers may spawn with wolves (leader with up to 4 wolves)
- Spiders have a chance to poison enemies (up to 25% chance)
- Wither Skeletons may spawn with new item: Wither Sword (up to 75% chance)
- new aggressive mob Elite Skeleton which spawn naturally during the night (skeleton which shoots 33.3% faster, more precisely and its arrows may have potion effects)
- Undead Army now has 4 waves
- enemies spawned during Undead Army are twice as likely to have enchanted items (up to 25% chance)
- Undead Army gives 100% more experience for completing it
- Bleeding II is now always applied instead of Bleeding I
- Drowned trident attacks may now spawn lightning bolt (up to 25% chance)
- you will receive a Fisherman Treasure Bag after every 15 items fished (instead of 20)
- Jockey now spawns more often (each Spider has up to 12.5% to be a Jockey)
- enemies spawned during Undead Army are twice as likely to have armor pieces (up to 50% chance)
- all explosions may leave fire behind (up to 100% chance)
- Fisherman Emblem now gives you luck +4 (instead of +3)
- Giant Seed now gives you a 40% chance to double your crops (instead of 25%)
- Lucky Rock now gives you a 4.5% chance for extra loot from mining (instead of 3%)
- Lucky Rock now gives you different extra loot in the Nether
- Idol of Fertility now gives you a 35% chance of having a twins after breeding (instead of 25%)
- Certificate of Taming now gives a 20% bonus to the animals attributes (instead of 15%)
- Creepers on explosion may now spawn up to 3 Creeperlings (instead of up to 1)
- Creepers now take only 10% of the damage dealt by other Creepers
- Creepers explosion will now ignite nearby Creepers and Creeperlings (make them explode after few seconds)
- Slimes have a chance to inflict Slowness effect (up to 50% chance)
- all regional difficulty dependent modifiers are now always increased by +0.15 (i.e. Spider poison attack is now always increased by 25% * 0.15 = 3.75%)


Master Mode changes:
- 50% extra chance for double loot from enemies (total 75%)
- 25% extra experience from any source (total 50%)
- enemies have extra 20% bonus to health & damage (total 40%) (doubled at night)
- Undead Army now has 5 waves
- enemies spawned during Undead Army are twice as likely to have enchanted items (up to 50% chance)
- Undead Army gives 100% more experience for completing it (total 200%)
- Bleeding III is now always applied instead of Bleeding II
- you will receive a Fisherman Treasure Bag after every 10 items fished (instead of 20)
- attacking Enderman will trigger all nearby Endermans
- Enderman may teleport target on hit (up to 50% chance)
- Elite Skeletons may spawn in group (leader with up to 7 sidekicks)
- Infested End Stone may generate instead of End Stone (after destroying this block Endermite will spawn)
- Shulker may inflict Blindness (up to 50% chance)
- completing Undead Army raid gives 2 Treasure Bags instead of 1
- enemies spawned during Undead Army are thrice as likely to have armor pieces (up to 75% chance)
- in the End there is now 13 new small structures (4 empty islands, 4 buildings, 2 towers, 2 ships and giant Flying Phantom)
- Phantom and new aggressive mob End Keeper will now spawn near new structures
- Fisherman Emblem now gives you luck +5 (instead of +4)
- Giant Seed now gives you a 55% chance to double your crops (instead of 40%)
- Lucky Rock now gives you a 6% chance for extra loot from mining (instead of 4.5%)
- Lucky Rock now gives you different extra loot in the End
- Idol of Fertility now gives you a 50% chance of having a twins after breeding (instead of 35%)
- Certificate of Taming now gives a 25% bonus to the animals attributes (instead of 20%)
- Creepers on explosion may now spawn up to 5 Creeperlings (instead of up to 3)
- all regional difficulty dependent modifiers are now always increased by +0.3 (instead of +0.15) (i.e. Spider poison attack is now always increased by 25% * 0.3 = 7.5%)


Commands:
/gamestate - shows current mode
/gamestate <mode> - changes the mode to given one (requires OP privileges)
/undead_army stop - stops the raid at the players location (requires OP privileges)
/undead_army highlight - highlights all Undead Army entities (requires OP privileges)
/undead_army undead_left - returns how many Undead Army entities are left (requires OP privileges)
/undead_army kill_all - kills all Undead Army entities and starts next wave (requires OP privileges)


All damage, health and loot bonuses affects enemies from other modifications.
You can disable most of the features using configuration file!
